The best thing I can tell you is to go to directed electronics website. They have a spot where you can put in the year/make/model of the vehicle, and it will bring up all the options and different equipment you will need to get the install done. If the vehicle is newer than 98, it will have a security system on it that will need to be bypassed with a module and have to be programmed by an authorized dealer.

I can help I raced in mini modified 2.3 pinto engine 30 years cheap 50 plus hp singalong plug head shaved 80 thousand 2 barrel Motorcraft 350 cmf factory 88 header or a long tub2 header 88 sv9 mustang cam or 89 roller cam put a dime under each lifimters match port intake and head bigger valves if can afford the machine shop work are rod bolts kieth black floating pistons that should get you close to 200 to hp plus put (dam forget Nam) anyway imit goes in-between oil pan eng8ne valve plsprings if have the 480 for a stage 2 solid lif5 cam be best but hydrolic good to now your at 250 hp and truck should fly

@@Hoppysjunkyardrally any time by the way chevy 202 valves the biggest can 7se but they are permitted leith for small journalists cams with big lift you can turn stock b9ttom end up to 6400 safely put are rod bolt 7800 1980 turbo pistons are forge flat top a windage tra along will give you 20 to 25 hp floating wrist pins give you 25 hp alone have crank cut to low side get flywheel from a 1.9 tempo cut down to 11 pounds stock pinto or rangers flywheel weights 22 pounds on average any questions ask

Sure.. it had an air lift prototype air bag kit, magnaflow stainless cat back exhaust with a vibrant 4 into 1 header, lightweight flywheel with a lsd in the trans and a billet short throw shifter. The cold air intake was on it when i bought it. I can't remember the brand of the torque damper, but it's definitely worth the purchase.. it helps with torque steer. I never did anything to the engine, but a smaller pulley would make more boost, which equals more hp.. im sure mine wasn't much more than the factory hp rating. Probably 215-220 hp if I had to guess. Had a bunch of the interior hydro dipped carbon fiber. Hope that helps! I really loved it, and my nephew now has the car in Illinois. Good luck with yours, and thanks for watching!

It's a 87 mustang 2.3 non turbo. No forged internals. It was rebuilt and I bought it off marketplace. It had been rebuilt for about 5 year's before I got it and it had never been started. Possibly buying rods and pistons before it gets mapped on the engine dyno. Thanks for watching I appreciate it

I would assume (we know what that means 😅) that everything infront of the cam on the truck would have to be removed.. the only thing that might get ya is if there is a center bar support for the hood latch like my little ranger has. But RAD and grille and anything else in that area I would say needs to be removed. Maybe find out the total length of the cam and that will tell you how much room you need at the front of the block to remove it. But I will check with the guy's in the am.

Talked to the engine guy's and they said magnets are key! You use them to hold up the pushrods while removing and installing the new cam if any of those drop down you're in trouble. But they said pretty easy other than everything has to come off the front of the engine and truck. Hope that helps! Good luck!

This is a Ion Redline so the front bumper is factory. If you can find a 2004 to 2007 REDLINE you may be able to swap the bumper but im not 100%.

Nice! That sounds like a beast💪 whats all done to it or is that stock? This is a stock+truck norris cam with dyno headers. This combo is roughly 9k as it sits and makes 640hp when we do a power run.

I actually ripped every single wire out of the truck. Only kept the headlight harness at the grille and the tail light harness everything else I wired.
